We are seeking a seasoned Finance Strategist to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our organisation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading variance analysis against budgets and executing comprehensive budgeting exercises across markets.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial planning and analysis to drive business growth. You will work closely with internal teams to refine and enhance financial systems and processes, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead variance analysis vs budgets and execute comprehensive budgeting exercises across markets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cost optimization initiatives and develop essential strategies to ensure financial practices are consistently followed.
  • Create systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over financial spends and aid in decision-making processes.

Our ideal candidate will have up to 9 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication and presentation skills.

You will also have the opportunity to partner with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. A bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field with a solid foundation in financial principles is preferred.
