Job Description

As a business development manager, you will provide service to clients' changing insurance needs by selling life, health, and disability insurance. You will establish productive working relationships with clients and develop a base for long-term sources of clients.

You will compile lists of prospects, determine clients' particular needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments, and ascertain clients' long-term goals. You will develop a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage action and long-term strategy implementation.

You will communicate with adjusters, obtain underwriting approval by completing application for coverage, and complete coverage by delivering policy, planning future follow-up visits, and evaluations of needs.

You will provide continuing service by providing direct deposit forms, processing changes in beneficiary, and analyzing policy loan applications. You will also provide death benefits by delivering policy proceeds and reassessing client needs.
