Seize opportunities in digital lending and buy now, pay later (BNPL) markets by identifying new lending prospects, forming strategic alliances, and driving customer acquisition.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a growth strategy for BNPL and micro-lending in key market segments.
  • Collaborate with product and risk teams to tailor offerings like installment plans, short-term loans, and embedded finance options.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Acquire e-commerce/offline stores, point-of-sale retailers, and service providers to offer BNPL/lending at checkout.
  • Establish partnerships, develop pricing models, and educate merchants on product benefits, customer impact, and integration processes.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Foster relationships with non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), banks, aggregators, or agent networks for co-lending, capital sourcing, or collections support.
  • Manage partnership lifecycles from due diligence to contract negotiation and performance monitoring.

Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Build a strong pipeline of potential partners, merchants, and referral agents.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and onboarding.
  • Track and report key performance indicators such as lead conversion, active merchant count, disbursed volume, and repeat usage.

Market Intelligence & Product Feedback:

  • Conduct market analysis on consumer behavior, credit demand, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide market insights to inform product development, pricing, risk models, and marketing efforts.
