High-Profile Software Engineering Position

We are seeking an exceptional software engineer to lead high-profile projects, leveraging expertise in DevOps and software engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects
  • Design and review architecture with peers, ensuring scalability and efficiency
  • Mentor junior engineers on design best practices and code quality
  • Troubleshoot complex engineering problems, facilitating root cause analysis
  • Promote CI/CD principles in day-to-day engineering
Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with GitLab and GitHub, including CI/CD capabilities
  • Ability to administer, manage, and optimize Git repositories and workflows
  • Proficiency in writing scripts for GitHub workflows, actions, jobs, steps
  • Experience integrating GitHub with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions or other tools
  • Knowledge of security best practices within GitHub, including access control, secret management, and vulnerability scanning
  • Deep understanding of GitLab administration, configuration, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
  • Skills in Git CLI, GitHub/GitLab APIs, scripting (Python, Bash), YAML, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, GitLab runners, shell scripting
  • Experience with HashiCorp and its integration with GitHub
  • Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools and integrating these tools with GitHub
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform for various cloud providers
  • Ability to write new and modify existing Terraform scripts
  • Proficiency in automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Terraform and integrating with CI/CD pipelines
  • Securely managing Terraform state, including state files, backends, and remote state
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of Gradle, including mastery of build configuration, tasks, plugins, dependency management, and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
  • Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Exposure to messaging/event-driven systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
