We are seeking an accomplished Financial Accountant to join our team. At our organization, we strive to recruit the highest calibre personnel and foster a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero, QuickBooks, VT, Sage 50, and Excel software, ensuring seamless data analysis and insightful reporting.
  • Analyse financial data using various tools and techniques to provide valuable insights that drive business growth.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements with disclosures required by FRS-105 and FRS-102 standards, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compute Corporation Tax in accordance with UK tax legislation, ensuring timely submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Draft professional letters and documents for correspondence, showcasing excellent communication skills.
  • Submit timely financial statements and corporation tax returns to HMRC and Company's House, ensuring adherence to statutory deadlines.
  • Prepare VAT returns in compliance with UK VAT legislation, ensuring accurate calculations and submissions.
  • Prepare individual's personal income tax returns in accordance with UK tax legislation, providing expert support to clients.
  • Update monthly payroll using Sage 50 payroll software, maintaining efficient employee management processes.
Requirements:
  • ACCA Affiliate/Finalist qualified, with expertise in accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in a UK-based firm is highly valued, with a strong understanding of local regulations and taxation laws.
  • Expertise in Xero, Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Excel is desirable, with the ability to maintain and enhance existing systems.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a reputable organization in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of accounting and financial processes, with a commitment to integrity and professionalism.
