Job Title: Gas Operations Expert

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Gas Operations Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, chemical, mechatronics, petroleum, or electronics engineering with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience.

The successful candidate will have experience working in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably in maintenance and calibration of gas flow measurement stations. A Master's degree is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Calibration: Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance measures for gas flow measurement stations to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Safe Operations: Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas flow measuring equipment installed and operated in the region.
  • Resource Optimization: Effectively utilize manpower and material resources to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Metering Accuracy: Manage calibration of metering instruments at Point of Delivery(s), Check Metering Station(s), and Sales Meter Station(s) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • New Installation: Oversee the installation and commissioning of new metering installations and/or upgradation of existing setups in the region.
  • Field Activity Reports: Ensure field activity/maintenance activity reports are filled, signed, and submitted by the team, with documentation records maintained.
  • Joint Meter Check: Conduct Joint Meter Check activities with the Distribution department in a timely manner for gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations in the region.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance to the team and coordinate field activities related to equipment installation, startup, and operation.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor data through remote monitoring systems to identify problems and implement corrective measures in a timely manner.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
