Business Strategy Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Business Unit Controller in implementing business planning processes across the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Process Improvement: Supporting the Business Unit Controller to ensure adherence to designed business planning process across the business.
  • Data Analysis: Participating in monthly business planning meetings to understand business opportunities, challenges, and key changes impacting the P&L.
  • Financial Planning: Executing base DF financials in coordination with other business partners using appropriate management tools.
  • Scenario Planning: Conducting scenario planning, analysis, and brainstorming with business teams to provide timely visibility of outcomes.
  • Cost Optimization: Identifying cost optimization opportunities and providing visibility around Value Destroyers to maximize ROI from TTS/PFME.
  • Investment Review: Driving the Quarterly Investment Review process within the respective business unit, coordinating with brand and marketing teams.
  • Analysis Reporting: Preparing and conducting analysis for Replacement Cost Runs, reviewing with BUC and BEO, and presenting to HoFC and MD.
  • Key Deliverables: Ensuring timely completion of key deliverables such as ML Comments, SPCs, PFME reporting, PEC activities, Brand Portfolio tool, and impairment cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Qualification: CA, ACCA, ACMA, MBA with majors in Finance.
  • Experience: 3-4 years FMCG industry experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, internal control.
