Job Description

The ideal candidate will oversee the sampling and prototyping process, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.

They will work closely with the fabric and production teams to execute designs efficiently.

Strong research skills are required to develop innovative and market-driven designs based on current trends, fabrics, and styles in Eastern wear.

Collaboration with marketing and merchandising teams is essential to align designs with brand strategy and customer preferences.

The successful candidate will stay updated with cultural and regional fashion trends to introduce fresh and appealing styles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments that align with brand aesthetics and quality standards.
  • Oversee the sampling and prototyping process, making necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit and finish.
  • Research current trends, fabrics, and styles in Eastern wear to develop innovative and market-driven designs.
  • Work closely with the fabric and production teams to ensure designs are executed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to align designs with brand strategy and customer preferences.
  • Stay updated with cultural and regional fashion trends to introduce fresh and appealing styles.
  • Ensure all designs meet quality standards and cost-effective production methods.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the fashion industry, preferably in fashion retail companies.
