Job Description:

The Global Sales Professional will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales of lubricants in international markets. The role requires effective management of key accounts, fostering strong relationships with distributors and partners to expand market share and achieve revenue targets in line with the company's outlined strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in target regions. Utilize insights to tailor sales strategies and product offerings.
  2. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  3. Sales Performance Monitoring: Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics. Monitor sales activities, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  4. New Business Pursuit: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in untapped markets. Develop strategic partnerships and distribution channels to expand market reach and drive growth.
  5. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and documentation processes. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth order fulfilment and shipment.
  6. Credit Control: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments from international customers. Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues promptly.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis. Present findings to senior management and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  2. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the lubricants or related industry.
  3. Ability to relocate to Qatar.
  4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in international markets.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Sound knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.
  7. Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, sales forecasting, and data analysis.
  8. Ability to travel internationally as required.
