Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Architect to design and implement an AWS Data Lake solution for managing data from SAP ERP systems. This hybrid role allows the candidate to work in a flexible environment with the flexibility to work remotely and on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AWS Data Lake Architecture: Design and implement a scalable AWS Data Lake solution to efficiently store, manage, and process large volumes of data.
  • Data Integration: Build and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load ETL data from SAP ERP systems into the Data Lake.
  • Support for FP&A in Anaplan: Enable seamless data integration and synchronization to facilitate financial planning and analysis processes in Anaplan.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Optimize AWS environments for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Data Governance and Security: Establish and enforce best practices for data security, compliance, and governance across the Data Lake.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, SAP specialists, and Anaplan consultants to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years in Data Architecture and Engineering roles.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in AWS services, ETL frameworks, SAP data structures, programming/scripting languages, and data modeling schema design.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Data Analytics Specialty or related certifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
