Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, driving effective implementation and delivery of Money Mule Risk Management initiatives across Wealth and Personal Banking.

They will also be responsible for supporting execution decisions, escalating issues and risks as appropriate, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

In addition, this role will focus on enhancing quality, reporting, and continuous improvement processes, including evaluating the effectiveness of staff training programs on detecting money mule schemes.

The successful candidate will provide expert input on strategic financial crime projects and initiatives, escalating issues that could have a probable business impact.


Principal Tasks
  • Support Wealth and Personal Banking's implementation and delivery of various Money Mule Risk Management related requirements
  • Support execution decisions relating to Money Mule solutions and escalation of issues, risks and dependencies as appropriate
  • Compliance and regulatory adherence. Drive a focus on risk outcome that each review needs to result in a sensible assessment of the risk and relevant recommendations
  • Contributing on enhancing quality, reporting and continuous improvement
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of staff training programs on detecting money mule schemes
  • Support and provide SME input on strategic financial crime project and specific initiatives
  • Escalate issues which could have a probable business impact.

Expertise Required
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in implementing and delivering large-scale initiatives
  • Proven ability to support execution decisions and escalate issues as required
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of staff training programs
  • Expertise in strategic financial crime projects and initiatives
