Server Administrator
Servers are the backbone of any organization's IT infrastructure. As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring their smooth operation, maintaining high availability and performance, and guaranteeing security.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure software, hardware, and networks to meet business requirements.
  • Regularly monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to prevent outages.
  • Ensure the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
  • Maintain systems according to requirements, monitor performance, and implement upgrades as needed.
  • Create and manage backups to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
  • Set up accounts and workstations for new and old employees, and perform account maintenance tasks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum experience of 1 year as a Server Administrator or similar role, with a strong background in server administration, network infrastructure, and system security.
  • Proficiency in server operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, services, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
