We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure and related systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role will also be responsible to provide technical assistance to the users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide first and second-level support for desktops, laptops.
  2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/macOS operating systems and software.
  3. Respond to user queries via ticketing systems, phone, email, or in-person.
  4. Set up new user workstations, accounts, email, and access rights.
  5. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi).
  6. Maintain inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
  7. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
  8. Follow and contribute to documentation and knowledge base articles.
  9. Ensure security compliance (antivirus, updates, password policies, etc.).
  10. Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
  11. Experience with remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP).
  12. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  13. Ability to multitask and work independently.
  14. Assist cloud administrator to manage and administer Azure-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and resource groups.
  15. Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor and other tools.
  16. Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
  17. Handle system updates, patches, and configurations in a proactive manner.
  18. Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting tools.
  19. Maintain identity and access management using Azure Active Directory.
  20. Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices in deployment and operations.
  21. Respond to incidents, troubleshoot system issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  22. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory (must-have).
  2. Knowledge of networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  3. 2–4 years of hands-on experience in system administration with a strong focus on Azure Cloud.
  4. Proficiency in Azure services: Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  5. Experience with PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI. Strong understanding of system security principles and cloud governance.
  6. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.
  7. Good knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or similar certifications.
  2. Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  3. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates or Terraform.
