Project Coordinator Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and team with documentation, control, accounting, scheduling, and supervision efforts. To succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on multiple tasks that require various skills and prioritizing those tasks' completion effectively.

  • Review project technical drawings, Single Line Diagrams, and costing sheets provided by the Estimation and Sales teams to ensure alignment with project scope and cost structure.
  • Conduct detailed meetings with the Estimation and Sales teams to confirm clear understanding of project scope and cost structure.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to ensure project design aligns with approved budget and scope.
  • Develop and submit project schedules to clients in line with contractual timelines.
  • Validate design documents; coordinate with clients for approvals, submissions, and necessary variations.
  • Ensure all client comments and feedback are properly incorporated into the project design by coordinating with the Design team.
  • Verify that all components issued for procurement align with approved designs and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to manage alternatives and design changes, ensuring all modifications are approved by the client.
  • Liaise with the Planning team to ensure accurate scheduling and effective project control measures.
  • Work closely with the Production team and external vendors to resolve production-related issues affecting project delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients for scheduling and conducting Factory Acceptance Tests.
  • Address client comments and observations during inspections, ensuring effective communication.
  • Manage project delivery logistics to meet client expectations.
  • Support clients during installation and commissioning, addressing related issues or after-sales service requirements.
  • Follow up with clients for payments and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Lead project teams to meet defined milestones and ensure successful execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the switchgear industry, focusing on project planning and execution.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
