East Coast E-commerce Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced East Coast e-commerce operations manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in dropshipping and third-party logistics (3PL) services, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and seamless delivery. They will collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and 3PL partners to optimize shipping routes, reduce transit times, and minimize shipping costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management
  • Manage end-to-end e-commerce operations ensuring timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and seamless delivery
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and 3PL partners to optimize shipping routes, reduce transit times, and minimize shipping costs
Inventory Management
  • Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment to prevent stockouts and backorders
Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment, shipping efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Process Improvement
  • Implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, such as optimizing layout, implementing automation technologies, and streamlining workflows
Marketing Collaboration
  • Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal sales events

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  2. Proven experience (2 years) in e-commerce operations, dropshipping, and 3PL, preferably within the East Coast region
  3. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes
  4. Proficiency in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento
  5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  6. Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners
  7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
  8. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order management systems (OMS) is a plus
