Network Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional with a strong academic background and excellent communication skills, having at least 2-3 years of professional experience in the field.
The key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support and assistance to internal networks and employees.
- Collaborating across departments to resolve complex issues and follow reported problems through to their resolution.
- Responding to employee inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- Identifying and resolving routine operational system problems.
- Installing and operating LAN, WAN, and dial access services for operations.
- Managing projects, planning, and implementing systems maintenance and administration.
- Troubleshooting networks and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Required Skills:
- Experience working in software development environments.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Strong phone etiquette.
- MCSE certification, CCNA (desired).
- A thorough understanding of web technologies, networking, and software products.
- Owning technical issues and collaborating with Development teams to resolve advanced issues when necessary.
- Resolving escalated user complaints independently.
- Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
- Participating in educating network customers as required.
- Familiarity with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Linux, and general desktop support issues.
- Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, Domain Environment, Firewalls, and other networking concepts.
- Solid knowledge of internet protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP & HTTP.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as trace route, ping, and dig.
