Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our mission of promoting holistic child development through education, health, nutrition, and stimulation in early years.

The role aims to provide the necessary support to enhance physical, cognitive, social, and emotional abilities of children, enabling them to become healthy, competent individuals who can participate productively and effectively in their societies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement project activities according to established protocols, expectations, and timelines.
  • Develop dietary guidelines for nutrition counseling of children with neurological disorders, in consultation with the Principal Investigator.
  • Organize focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with stakeholders.
  • Consolidate data, maintain records, and ensure backup of collected data.
  • Regularly review collected data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member, providing support to other project staff as needed.
  • Submit weekly project activity reports to the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator.
  • Develop monthly reports for the donor agency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Social Sciences, or Public Health.
  • At least two years of experience working in nutrition and research projects.
  • Experience in organizing and handling research projects.
  • Experience in counseling techniques.
  • Experience in developing educational materials on nutrition and Early Childhood Development.
  • Experience working with children with neurological disorders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Urdu. Knowledge of Sindhi language is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Efficiency in work planning, quality assurance, monitoring, and report writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, SPSS, and NVIVO.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to study centers.
