Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our organization by generating leads from various sources and enrolling potential carriers/drivers with us.

They schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods, coordinate with drivers to track shipment progress, and utilize computer systems to find loads for drivers.

This is a key responsibility that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: The Logistics Coordinator must generate leads from various platforms to ensure a steady stream of potential customers.
  2. Driver Enrollment: They must enroll potential carriers/drivers with the company, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements.
  3. Scheduling and Dispatch: The Logistics Coordinator schedules and dispatches drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods, coordinating with drivers to track shipment progress.
  4. Computer Systems Utilization: They must utilize computer systems to find loads for drivers, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a trucking company is a plus
