Elevator Technician

We seek an experienced elevator technician to install, maintain and repair elevators, escalators, moving walkways and other equipment.

• Install, inspect, test and repair elevators, escalators and other equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work to avoid system failures.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve complex technical issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and technical documents.
• Maintain detailed service records for each project.
• Provide emergency repairs as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical diploma or certificate in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Valid driver's license.

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation, maintenance or repair.
• Strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with various elevator brands and models is preferred.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical components.
• Strong understanding of control systems, motors, drives and power supply systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Good knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
