We are seeking a skilled Elevator Electrical & Mechanical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of elevator systems, including electrical and mechanical components. This role demands expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and ensuring systems comply with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using testing equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance and repair work to avoid system failures.

Ensure compliance with safety codes and government regulations.

Collaborate with the team to resolve any complex technical issues.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.

Maintain detailed service records for each project.

Provide emergency repairs as needed.

Job Specification

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Technical diploma or certificate in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred).

Valid driver's license.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair.

Strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Experience with a variety of elevator brands and models is a plus.

Preference will be given to candidates with specific experience in elevator (lift) systems.

Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical components.

Strong understanding of control systems, motors, drives, and power supply systems.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings.

Good knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards (OSHA, EN 81, etc.).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Location:

Preference will be given to candidates residing in Lahore.
