Pest Management Specialist

The Pest Management Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that customers' sites receive the appropriate pest management programs, accompanied by comprehensive documentation. The specialist works closely with the customers, operations, and sales teams to guarantee that all sites have well-structured pest management programs with accurate records.

  • Monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting is essential for this position, as it ensures that customers pass internal and external audits successfully.
  • Regular site visits are necessary for quality checks and quality assurance, ensuring that pest management service levels are consistently maintained.
  • Liaising with clients to provide treatment recommendations, including strategies tailored to each situation, is crucial.
  • Handling customer inquiries regarding pest identification or providing detailed reports on pest identification is also part of the job.
  • Troubleshooting unresolved pest issues, working closely with operations and sales teams to resolve these issues, is another key responsibility.
  • Maintaining high standards of service quality involves working with branch operation managers and service supervisors.
  • Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to address areas of weakness is a continuous process.
  • Collaboration with quality control and operations teams to investigate pest infestations at customer sites when necessary is an added responsibility.
  • Attending meetings with customers and finding optimal solutions is also required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in entomology or biological sciences/environmental science.
  • Knowledge of biology and behavior of structural pests is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent documentation skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Being resourceful, proactive, and having a high level of initiative is highly valued.
