About Procurement Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and procedures.
  • Manage procurement for allocated categories or segments, from initial review to final execution and settlement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful competitive bidding and awarding of PO/Contracts.
  • Explore new sources and develop preferred vendor lists for critical items, identify alternate sources, and resolve issues/reconciliation.
  • Lead cash procurement, monitor transaction transparency, and verify rates of relevant areas.
  • Develop and maintain liaison with internal and external stakeholders through correspondence and communication.

KPI-based Performance:

  • Performance will be evaluated based on clear and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a half-yearly basis.
  • Promote contractual/project business delivery and prepare monthly progress reports on PRs, POs, SAP Ariba, saving initiatives, and other KPIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounts, Finance, or Business.
  • 2-3 years of practical experience in procurement at manufacturing bases/plants/companies, preferably with multinational companies.
  • Age: Maximum 35 years.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and negotiation skills.
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.

  • Leadership qualities, self-driven, supportive, and goal-oriented.
  • High level of integrity, negotiation skills, and efficient, stable, and humble attitude.
