Job Title: Strategic Operations Director

This is a unique opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of a logistics digital start-up, overseeing all processes and ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business strategy, coordinating between technology partners, customers, and transport companies, and building a high-performance operations team.

Beyond leadership responsibilities, you will be instrumental in creating business plans and projections to attract potential investors, showcasing the company's growth potential and market opportunities.

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop, implement, and manage the operational strategy of the company to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to create and execute long-term business plans, ensuring that strategic goals are met.
  • Prepare detailed business plans and financial projections for potential investors and stakeholders, highlighting the company's growth prospects and market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management:
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the logistics platform, ensuring smooth execution of all logistics processes and technology integrations.
  • Oversee all aspects of the digital platform's operational functionality, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Establish performance benchmarks, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Team Development:

  1. Build and Manage a High-Performing Operations Team:
  • Develop a collaborative culture that aligns with the company's vision, promoting innovation, accountability, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members to foster professional development and increase productivity.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  1. Serve as the Key Liaison Between Technology Partners, Transport Companies, and Customers:
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, transport providers, and technology vendors, to ensure that all partnerships deliver value to the business.
  • Collaborate with the product and technology teams to ensure the logistics platform remains agile, scalable, and adaptable to evolving market needs.

Investor Relations and Business Growth:

  1. Present Operational Strategies and Performance Updates to Investors:
  • Provide clear insights into operational metrics and company growth prospects.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  1. Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity.
