Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities in the solar energy market.

About the Job:

  • Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders to increase customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Identify and develop key accounts, and work with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape and market opportunities
  • Develop proposals and presentations for prospective clients
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and other events to network and build relationships with potential clients
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales and marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies and achieve revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports
Job Specifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in solar energy sales, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to close sales and achieve revenue targets
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend events
