Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting storage systems, including NFS exports and CIFS shares.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches, including SAN zoning and tools. Excellent teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Manage and troubleshoot NFS exports and CIFS Shares.">
  3. Manage Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches, including SAN zoning and tools.">
  4. Provide excellent teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.">
  5. Support systems and infrastructure environment, on and off hours.">
  6. Occasional travel to remote data center may be required.">
  7. Experience with backing up SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, AIX, Windows, and Red Hat Linux.">
  8. Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software.">
  9. Monitor and tune system components for optimal performance.">
  10. Ensure service performance meets or exceeds business expectations and is delivered in accordance with SLAs.">
  11. Develop and modify scripts to automate system processes.">
  12. Create Knowledge Base articles of operational tasks to streamline support.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • BSCS degree from a reputable university.">
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.">
  • Experience in SAN/NAS administration and troubleshooting skills with storage systems such as EMC storage products, VNX, XtremI/O, Isilon.">
  • ITIL Foundations Certification preferred.">
  • EMC Certification preferred.">
  • Experience with backup technologies such as SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, AIX, Windows, and Red Hat Linux.">
  • Proficient in using technologies like Linux, LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN, and Direct Attached Storage.">
  • Experience with replication technologies such as Recover Point or Zerto.">
  • Experience with VMWare Site Recovery Manager.">
