Key Responsibilities of Senior Officer E-Commerce

The Senior Officer E-Commerce will be responsible for implementing our E-Commerce merchant acquiring strategy, ensuring seamless integration with payment schemes / gateways, improving customer experience through data analysis, and preparing vendor agreements and SLAs.

Core Duties
  • Strategic Implementation: Assist in the successful implementation of our E-Commerce merchant acquiring strategy by supporting end-to-end product management life cycle.
  • Integration and Alignment: Ensure seamless integration with payment schemes / gateways to align the product with our business goals.
  • Market Insights Generation: Conduct data analysis to generate data-driven market insights, thereby improving the customer experience.
  • Agreement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of Vendor Agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Portfolio Growth: Support in building and maintaining a profitable Merchant Acquiring portfolio.
  • Business Propositions Formulation: Identify new business trends, conduct comparative analysis of the market, and evaluate major competitors to formulate new business propositions.
  • Customer Service Delivery: Ensure timely resolution of customer service issues and complaints – both internal and external – and achieve defined service standards.
  • Collaborations and Partnerships: Explore new business ventures and collaborations with FinTechs for business growth.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and other key business relationships to achieve key milestones.
  • Fraud Management: Ensure the Fraud to sales ratio is well below the given threshold by schemes.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of periodic reporting to relevant authorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, motivational, team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking and multi-tasking skills.
  • Decision-Making and Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Policies and Procedures Knowledge: Strong knowledge of policies and procedures in regard to regulators, payment schemes, internal policies & banking operations.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business trends, competitor analysis, and market insights.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Preferably a Master's or at least a Bachelor's degree from a reputed university. Preferably one (01) – three (3) years' experience in the relevant field.
