Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our software engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for various services.
  • Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
  • E nsure site reliability of the infrastructure and maintain disaster recovery plans.
  • Document DevOps processes and apply practices for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Automate deployment processes for new services.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in setting up scalable architectures and systems, including caching, message queues, databases, microservices, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, such as pods, services, deployments, and secrets.
  • Experience in containerizing applications using Docker.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • 3+ years of experience in Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform (Azure experience preferred).
  • Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices, as well as Kubernetes networking and pod security policies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps Engineer or similar roles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
