Job Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Manager for the Tax Department. This role involves strategic tax planning, market analysis, and hands-on execution to contribute to the firm's overall growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review client and authority notices with detailed reasoning.
  • Update notices list, appeal list, and tribunal list.
  • Verify tax computations, schedules, and workings before replying to notices.
  • Inform clients about tax gaps or liabilities via email & WhatsApp.
  • Obtain client approval for tax liabilities and fee payments.
  • Handle all income tax and sales tax correspondence with authorities, including audits and monitoring.
  • Manage indirect taxes correspondence with regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the firm in meetings to address queries.
  • Secure orders from authorities in favor of clients.
  • Filing appeals and representing clients in appeals before commissioners and tribunals.
  • Oversee company tax computations and e-filing of annual returns.
  • Discuss notices or cases with clients and review filings before submission.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the partner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ACCA/CA/ICMA/LLB qualified or finalist, M.COM or MBA from an recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in audit or tax consultancy firms.
Key Competencies
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and tax returns.
  • Proficiency with tax portals and MS Office.
  • Strong time management and leadership skills.
