Business Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration between various systems and processes.

About the Role:
  • Gather and analyze integration requirements from business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, clients, and IT professionals, to understand and document integration needs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and countries to analyze integration needs and data exchange requirements.
  • Develop and maintain API specifications, including request/response details, data validations, and message formats.
  • Identify business use cases for integration and document integration documents, including API request/response samples.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and other IT team members on integration-related topics.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI to validate API request/response and troubleshoot response codes & errors.
  • Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure data integrity and functionality.
  • Work with integration developers and operations support teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain version control for all integration documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute the rollout/migration of services to new APIs and validate integration post-implementation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in IT business/integration analysis, integration development, or a related field.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to work with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint & release concepts.
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL.
  • Ability to perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman, etc.).
