Emergency Medicine Specialist

 

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities
  • Quality Team Leadership: Lead a quality team of medical and nursing staff in delivering high-quality care services in A&E.
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical expertise and guidance to medical officers and senior medical officers.
  • Decision Making: Make timely and informed decisions in crisis situations.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with medical and non-medical staff across departments.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement administrative and clinical policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Quick Response Team: Collaborate with team members to respond quickly to patient needs.
  • HIMS Documentation: Accurately document patient medical information in the Hospital Information Management System (HIMS).
  • Shift Handovers: Ensure seamless handovers of patients between shifts.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor and approach when interacting with patients and colleagues.
  • Compliance: Adhere to dress code policies as outlined by Human Resources.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Clinical Expertise: Strong clinical knowledge of emergency medicine.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (additional benefits).
