Biostatistician - Clinical Research Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician to join our team as a Clinical Research Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing research projects, managing data, and interpreting statistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Draw conclusions or make predictions based on data summaries or statistical analyses.
  • Research Project Development: Analyze clinical or survey data using statistical methods such as longitudinal analysis, mixed-effect modeling, logistic regression, and model-building techniques.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Write detailed analysis plans and descriptions of findings for research protocols or reports.
  • Sample Size Calculation: Calculate sample size requirements for clinical studies.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with methodological or conceptual developments by reading literature, attending meetings, and consulting colleagues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, life scientists, or other professionals to design research studies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Biostatistics or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years as a biostatistician or data analyst preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Analytical Skills: High computer literacy, strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to structure tasks logically and set priorities, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze data statistically and present findings logically.

Note: This position does not require patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
