Key Account Strategist

This role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies for brands as well as implementing core strategies to drive growth. The Key Account Strategist will be responsible for defining and executing the overarching brand strategy, including channel selection, product positioning, channel mix, pricing approach, and go-to-market planning.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's business needs and goals to inform strategy recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of strategies and achievement of revenue and operational targets.
  • Manage client relationships through regular communication and deliver against client agendas with clarity and accountability.
  • Lead sales forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes to meet revenue and operational targets.
  • Partner with advertising teams to set and track ACOS/TACOS targets, ensuring advertising efficiency aligns with broader business objectives.
  • Present data-driven insights and performance updates in both verbal and written formats, ensuring transparency and alignment with client goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum 3–4 years of experience in a brand management or account strategy role with expertise in Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central channels and E-commerce marketplaces.
  • Must have 1–2 years client-facing experience, including communicating complex performance data and strategy recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital assets, A+/EBC content, SEO, copywriting, and parent/child variations.
  • Experience with Amazon required, experience with Walmart.com is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce metrics and use of data.
  • Experience building processes and reporting that allow your efforts to impact brands at scale.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with full fluency in English.
  • Ability to interpret technical data, translate findings into actionable insights, and communicate them clearly to both internal teams and clients.
