Bookkeeper Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple UK clients using industry-standard software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records for clients using industry-standard software.
- Record financial transactions, including purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions, journals, and adjustments.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and control account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and submit VAT Returns and CIS returns for relevant clients.
- Assist in producing management accounts and year-end accounts to meet client needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve data queries and manage deliverables.
- Ensure high-quality bookkeeping services in line with UK accounting standards.
Required Qualifications:
- ACCA Affiliate (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum 3-4 years of practical bookkeeping experience for UK clients.
- Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks (Online & Desktop), and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of UK VAT and CIS return processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client assignments with accuracy and timeliness.
