Structural Engineer Opportunity

  • This role involves overseeing structural engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site construction activities related to structural works, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement improvements, monitoring and ensuring compliance with quality control standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices, conducting structural analysis and providing solutions to address challenges encountered during construction.

  • Job Description: Structural Engineers will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of projects, from planning to completion. They will analyze site data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise on-site construction activities related to structural works.
    • Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with quality control standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Conduct structural analysis and provide solutions to address challenges encountered during construction.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g., Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Master's degree in Structural Engineering).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in structural design and supervision, preferably in hydropower or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Proficient in using software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
  • Communication Skills: Sound communication skills (written & verbal).
