Senior Backend Developer Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to lead our team in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems, including backend services, APIs, and databases.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for mentoring junior team members, ensuring the security, scalability, and maintainability of large-scale web applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior team members and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Design and develop large-scale web applications with a strong focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Create and maintain database schemas and design database queries to efficiently retrieve data from the MongoDB database.
  • Write reusable and modular code in Java or Node.js and integrate it with other systems and applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in backend development, with strong experience in Java or Node.js.
  • Strong experience in database design and development with MongoDB, with experience with PostgreSQL a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
  • Experience with FHIR is highly preferred.
