Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications using Java technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the creation of innovative software solutions.

About the Role:

  1. Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using Java technologies, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Implement and optimize database solutions focusing on PostgreSQL and MySQL, improving data management and performance.
  • Develop and integrate application features including location-based services, enhancing user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement functionalities within enterprise applications, promoting seamless integration.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices, adhering to coding standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve performance-related issues in application and database layers, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Enhance backend architecture to efficiently manage data, optimizing system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with Java technologies and apply them in developing innovative solutions, driving progress and growth.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles.
  2. Database Management: Proficient in PostgreSQL and MySQL for database management, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  3. Application Development: Experience in developing applications or working on related projects, showcasing your ability to create complex software systems.
  4. Backend Integration: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integration, enabling seamless communication between systems.
  5. Spring Framework: Solid knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) for building robust applications, following industry best practices.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  1. Front-end Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript, Angular, or React, allowing for seamless integration and enhanced user experience.
  2. Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying services, ensuring scalability and flexibility.
  3. Performance Tuning: Experience in performance tuning of queries in PostgreSQL/MySQL, optimizing system performance and reducing latency.

Education:

  1. Degree: Bachelor's/Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS, or a related field, demonstrating your academic background and expertise.
