Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical engineering support to contractors by interpreting plans, detail sheets, and specifications.
  2. Collaborate with Senior Engineers to resolve conflicts in structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications.
  3. Ensure accurate quantities for labor cost reports and monitor material ledgers to determine if quantities remaining in the estimate are sufficient to complete the project in the field.
  4. As a member of the Project Team, perform layout work competently, accurately, and efficiently.
  5. Coordinate inspections with Senior Engineers and authorities as required by the contract.
  6. Inspect false work for conformance to design drawings.
  7. Monitor installation of rebar for conformance to structural drawings.
  8. Assist Project Manager in enforcing quality control and expediting subcontractors.
  9. Continually update drawings with changes as issued by Senior Engineers.
  10. Review shop drawings for conformance with the contract and ensure information is communicated to Project staff and Project Manager.
  11. Identify contract document conflicts and recommend solutions.
  12. Ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
Key Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering is preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
