Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive
Structural Engineer
to join our team. Growth potential is significant and will be based upon the candidate's experience, abilities, and ambition.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structures, ensuring they are safe, functional, and cost-effective. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver successful projects from concept to completion.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. SAP2000, ETABS, RAM Concept) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Fluency in English (Written & spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with US building codes
  • Experience with seismic design and analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with billing processes and financial follow-ups

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design and analyze structural components and systems for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

·       Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural elements into overall project designs.

·       Perform calculations to determine loads, stresses, and material requirements for structures.

·       Review and approve construction materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and regulatory standards.

·       Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure designs are current and compliant.

·       Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve any issues.

·       Prepare detailed markups for drawings, specifications, and reports to collaborate with drafting/modeling team

·       Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
