Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing server applications using Ruby on Rails. Your key responsibilities will include writing Restful APIs, ensuring the application's functionality, security, and performance align with design specifications, and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Analyze business requirements and estimate tasks.
  • Write code and unit tests, collaborating with team members.
  • Tune code for enhanced security and performance, maintain systems by fixing issues, and update issue tracking software.
  • Communicate with clients, control code versions, research new technologies, and lead a team of software engineers.
  • Mentor team members through training and guidance, upgrade skills, and evaluate candidates for open positions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and its frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with gems like Devise and Pundit, building large-scale production web applications, and stress testing.
  • Good understanding of the testing pyramid, RSpec framework, and ability to work across the stack (rails, Ruby, ES6).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, cloud technologies, and Agile development methodologies.
