Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Compliance Operations Manager to join our team. As the Team Lead for Compliance, you will be responsible for leading a team of 12-15 analysts in combating money laundering and ensuring that we meet our mission to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Hiring, Leading, and Developing a Diverse Team: You will hire, lead, and develop a diverse, high-performing team by setting up the organization for success through investments in career growth.
  2. Driving Standard Work and Compliance: You will drive standard work while utilizing your compliance background to collect feedback and drive upstream improvements to Policy & Procedures.
  3. Conducting Business Reviews: You will drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to instill customer focus and operational excellence culture across TMS teams.
  4. Solving Complex Problems: You will utilize your compliance experience in identifying opportunity areas and suggest solutions to business problems.
  5. Scaling Operational Mechanisms: In partnership with Compliance, Program Management, and other operational support partners, you will create and scale operational mechanisms to manage productivity, improve quality, and contribute to best-in-class compliance operations.
Requirements
  1. You are Motivated by Our Mission.
  2. You have 3+ years of experience in managing analysts directly with a minimum of 2+ years of proven TMS experience in financial services or technology organizations.
  3. You have a Working Knowledge of Laws and Regulations for financial services.
  4. You possess Strong Communication Skills and presence: ability to interface with internal and external teams.
  5. You are able to work in a Cross-Functional and Matrixed Environment.
  6. You are highly organized with Meticulous Attention to Detail.
  7. You are proficient in Presentation Tools like PowerPoint/Google Slides and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  8. You hold a BA/BS degree in business, finance, and other related fields.
Nice to Haves
  1. You have experience working across multiple AML systems and programs simultaneously.
  2. You have experience with or previous exposure to financial services regulators.
  3. You hold professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, CIA, CISA, and CICA).
  4. You have a deep understanding of Google apps, JIRA, Salesforce Service Cloud.
