About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Officer to lead our security strategy and ensure compliance with industry standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing data security protocols, protecting financial transactions from cyber threats, and enforcing security measures for AWS infrastructure, APIs, and mobile applications.

  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies for our fintech ecosystem.
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and UAE financial regulations.
  • Monitor and respond to emerging cyber threats, fraud attempts, and security breaches in real-time.
  • Secure our AWS environments, API gateways, and cloud-based databases using best practices.
  • Conduct thorough penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement identity & access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and encryption protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud configurations.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on security best practices and phishing prevention for employees.

About You

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or Computer Science.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the field, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty are preferred but not mandatory.
  • You possess a deep understanding of firewalls, SIEM tools, intrusion detection, and endpoint security principles.
  • You have hands-on experience securing AWS environments, API security, and cloud computing platforms.
  • You are adept at responding to cybersecurity incidents and implementing disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
  • You have a solid grasp of fintech security threats and fraud detection techniques.
