Job Title: Corporate Support Engineer

The position will support corporate back-office tasks and activities such as pre-sales, deployment, and post-sales.

  • Intra Interdepartmental coordination
  • Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), vendor performance, and routine activities
  • Maintenance and update of existing databases
  • Feasibility check/validation of all ESS technical solutions
  • New link deployments (Fiber & Wireless) as per solution designs
  • Hands-on experience of portable PRI exchange, ethernet tester & OTDR
  • Knowledge of Huawei/ZTE PTN/OTN/DWDM, ability to identify ports for connectivity
  • Upgrades of existing solutions/links implementation
  • Troubleshooting of links (L1-L3) in coordination with last-mile vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Project documentation and management reporting
  • Testing of end-to-end solutions as per design including LAN, WAN, Routers, WIFI, CPEs, etc.
  • POST Sales Technical Support 24 x7 E2E support on PRI/SIP/DIA/DPLC/IPLC/M2M/GSM/VPBX corporate connectivity issues
  • Closing of corporate customer complaints and trouble tickets handling/resolution as per agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Time To Achieve (TAT)
Eligibility Criteria

Education:

  • BS Computer / Electrical engineering / Computer science/ Telecom Engineering

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 Years of work experience is required
Required Skills and Qualifications

Generic Skills:

  • Knowledge of Telecom Transport / IP Networks
  • Brief Knowledge of Fiber and MW network
  • MS Office / Visio Databases
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Presentation & Negotiation
  • Problem Solving Analytical Skills

Job Specific Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills & mathematical background in statistics
  • Data visualization skills (Python, PHP, Power BI etc)
  • Experience in databases
  • VBA scripting/macro programming to automate excel-based reports
  • Familiarity with field activities including CM and PM
  • Able to check bandwidth and ports feasibility at PTN and MW end through NMS clients
  • Able to configure failover routers and switches
