Marketing Analyst Job Description

The role of a Marketing Analyst involves various tasks to drive sales growth and maximize promotional inputs. Key responsibilities include routine analysis, stock management at multiple locations, and tracking promotional expenses.

  • Analyze company stocks using inventory ratios and moving average methods to predict seasonal trends.
  • Evaluate the impact of promotional activities on sales over different periods.

This position also requires monitoring third-party purchase plans based on actual sales and shipments, as well as analyzing competitor sales in comparison to our products.

A Marketing Analyst must possess strong analytical skills to make effective decision-making. This includes gathering and compiling sales data for all products over various periods, forecasting sales based on historical data, and identifying problems to implement solutions.

  • Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies.
