Principal/Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Problem Solver: Develop innovative solutions to complex problems on a daily basis.
  • DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a highly technical environment.
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Design, develop, and research machine learning systems, models, and schemes.
  • Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis and apply results to improve models.
  • Model Training: Train and retrain ML systems and models as needed.
  • Business Insights: Analyze use cases of ML algorithms and rank them by success probability.
  • Technical Leadership: Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks.
  • Talent Development: Teach, mentor, grow, and advise other domain experts and teams.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work with key customers to address technical challenges.
  • Exemplary Conduct: Embody company values through code, reviews, communications, and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Proficiency in Python and R code writing.
  • Mid-level Cloud experience AWS/Azure, including Azure Machine Learning and AWS Sage Maker.
  • In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Offshore software development experience is a plus.
