Indirect Tax Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax professional to lead the delivery of Indirect Tax engagements and drive business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills to take on a key leadership position in our team.

About the Opportunity

You will be responsible for managing large VAT implementation teams, identifying opportunities in the market, and developing our commercial proposition to new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements and develop a strategic vision for the team.
  • Manage large VAT implementation teams and oversee the delivery of projects.
  • Identify opportunities in the market and develop our commercial proposition to drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain tax relationships with our clients and advise them on indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or good & services tax (GST).
  • Assist clients in complying with customs regulations and provide expert guidance on complex tax issues.

  • Strong leadership skills in developing associates and conducting trainings.
  • Ability to drive business growth through commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent advisory and writing skills to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical, and able to work under pressure to deliver high-quality results.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.

Requirements:

  • A degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience as an Indirect Tax professional.
  • Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
  • Customs duty advisory experience is preferable.
  • Excellent English written and presentational skills.
