Job Title: Security Systems Administrator

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Administrator to manage our security infrastructure. This includes managing operating system and software patch deployment across the network, performing vulnerability assessments, and configuring and maintaining firewalls and endpoint protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating System and Software Patch Deployment: Manage OS and software patch deployment across the network.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation: Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure timely remediation.
  • Firewall and Endpoint Configuration: Configure and maintain firewalls and endpoint protection systems.
  • Incident Response and Management: Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect anomalies and respond to security incidents and alerts.
  • Security Compliance and Documentation: Implement security controls aligned with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) and maintain detailed documentation for audits and compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ Years of experience in security operations, patch management, or system administration.
  • Patch Management Tools: Proficient with patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, ManageEngine).
  • SIEM Platforms: Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
  • Scripting Knowledge: Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash) for process automation.
  • Networking and Firewalls: Strong grasp of networking, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Certifications: Certifications (optional but preferred): CompTIA Security+, CEH, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, CISSP.
