Job Title: System Security Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Security Engineer to manage our security infrastructure. This includes managing operating system and software patch deployment across the network, performing vulnerability assessments, and configuring and maintaining firewalls and endpoint protection systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Network Security: Manage OS and software patch deployment across the network.
  • Vulnerability Management: Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure timely remediation.
  • Firewall and Endpoint Security: Configure and maintain firewalls and endpoint protection systems.
  • Incident Response and Management: Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect anomalies and respond to security incidents and alerts.
  • Security Governance: Implement security controls aligned with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) and maintain detailed documentation for audits and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ Years of experience in security operations, patch management, or system administration.
  • Patch Management Tools: Proficient with patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, ManageEngine).
  • SIEM Platforms: Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
  • Scripting Knowledge: Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash) for process automation.
  • Networking and Firewalls: Strong grasp of networking, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Certifications: Certifications (optional but preferred): CompTIA Security+, CEH, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, CISSP.
