About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our organization and make a significant impact.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

You will be responsible for developing dynamic dashboards and leaderboards, creating SQL queries, and optimizing efficiency and execution of analytics data models.

As part of this role, you will work closely with internal program and analytics staff around all evaluation and analysis activities, handle requests from internal requestors, and communicate changes with external partners.

We are looking for someone who is proficient in SQL and has experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend), and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
