Key Responsibilities

The Sales Leadership Professional will oversee the sales team's efforts to execute strategic plans and develop tailored approaches to meet local business needs. The goal is to empower the team to achieve short-term objectives while driving long-term organizational strategy.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic Development: Establish clear and actionable objectives that align with regional goals, cascade these to the territory team, and drive sustainable growth initiatives. Collaborate with Zone Sales Manager (ZSM) to identify opportunities for share growth in key categories within a region, create subsequent plans to consistently grow shares, and implement counter strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Productivity and Financial Management: Ensure seamless information flow to ZSM and Sales Director to inform strategic decision-making, guarantee accurate financial and sales data, and monitor trade discounts with Trading Service Organizations (TSOs). Analyze distributor ROI, propose suggestions to optimize profitability, and implement quality control measures at distributor outlets.
  • Market Share Expansion: Take ownership of improving market share by identifying untapped channels, new towns, brand, and pack size opportunities, as well as optimizing rack productivity. Drive corporate marketing initiatives through customized local promotions, develop the team's capability to address channel partner stability concerns, and analyze competitor activity to inform response plans.
  • Process Enhancement: Propose improvements to existing sales processes, including data tracking, payment methods, and supply chain efficiency. Build and maintain communication with stakeholders on product supply and POP-related matters, and develop ways to improve process efficiency with distributors and retailers.
  • Team Development: Assess and track team capability through ongoing feedback, regular review meetings, and KPI tracking. Conduct core skills assessments, provide coaching and training to ensure market excellence, and foster an environment of ongoing motivation and suggestion through employee recognition programs.
Requirements

University Graduate or Master's degree

4-6 years of experience in sales leadership or related field
