Operating Room Assistant Job Description
About the Job:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Operating Room Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting surgeons and medical staff during operations, preparing operating rooms for procedures, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support, and responding to emergencies.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. A diploma in operating theater technician and relevant experience will be highly advantageous.
